KARACHI: Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) hosted its 11th conference recently at the Expo Centre. Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori was the chief guest at the event. The university distributed degrees among 450 students in different disciplines. Among them, 38 students were awarded gold medals, 32 were silver, and 21 were bronze medals.
Addressing the gathering, Tessori passionately highlighted the immense potential of the IT sector, noting that if Pakistan prepares one million IT professionals, it could overcome its economic crisis.
He urged the private sector, including IT companies and universities, to foster partnerships for providing job-oriented IT trainings and skill development programs to youngsters, instilling a sense of hope and optimism about the future.
