The Met Office said in a statement that strong monsoon currents are likely to penetrate from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal in the upper parts from July the night of July 31, and then in central and southern parts from August 2.

As a result of the new weather system, rain and thunderstorms with scattered heavy falls are anticipated in Kashmir, including Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, and Rawalakot, among others. This pattern is expected to continue intermittently until August 6th.
