BEIJING: China's Sinopec has started a new refined oil pipeline in east Zhejiang province, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.
The 413 km (258 mile) pipeline connects Sinopec's Zhenhai refinery with its storage tanks in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, Sinopec said.
The pipeline is able to handle 4.6 million tonnes of diesel and gasoline every year.
Sinopec said it sees surging oil products consumption from Zhejiang especially Ningbo, Taizhou and Wenzhou.
