The 65th Foundation Day of the Government and the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is being celebrated by all the Kashmir and Pakistani people with all enthusiasm and nationalism. At this occasion, I offer my heartiest congratulations and applause to the whole nation, who have been struggling and courageously moving ahead step by step.
Dear brothers! There was a great historical struggle, behind the establishment of the Government and State of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir. On 19th July 1947, the people of the Jammu and Kashmir have decided to annex their future and destiny with Pakistan. However, in accordance with the Partition Plan, when the Kashmiri people could not get their right to self determination, then they started the historical movement against the tyrant Indian forces to realize their wishes and aspiration to annex with Pakistan and after the armed struggle of 15 months, they liberated a large part of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir from the clutches of Dogra Raj and established a revolutionary Azad Government. The people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir are struggling for the last 65 years to make their freedom movement a success. During these 65 years the Indian Government has promised many times to conduct the referendum and give the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the right to self determination. However, instead of fulfilling its promises the Indian government has been attempting to inflict more oppression and made the lives of Kashmiri people miserable. The Kashmiri people have been facing all oppressive circumstances with courage and bravery and kept on their struggle in every thick and thin. The government of Pakistan Peoples Party in Azad Jammu and Kashmir is until this date playing an important and crucial role in this freedom struggle.
Dear Brothers! The government of Pakistan Peoples Party under the leadership of President of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari is supporting the Kashmir Movement and the right of the self determination of these people fully. The government of Pakistan has provided plenty of funds for the reconstruction of the Jammu and Kashmir. For the peace in the South Asia, I would say the Kashmir dispute must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the people.
Dear brothers!I want to salute all the people and freedom fighters, at this occasion of 65th Foundation Day of the government and the State of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and ensure them full support in their struggle for the right to self determination. I ensure them that we are with them all the way for being the part of same body and the day is not far away when the occupied Kashmir will be liberated from the tyrant clutches of Indian forces and able to annex with the Pakistan. May Allah Almighty give us strength to achieve our objectives. Ameen
