KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was broadly stable on Wednesday with some appetite for dollars from energy importers giving the local currency a depreciation bias, traders said.

At 0720 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,675/3,685, compared to Tuesday’s close of 3,672/3,682.
