LAHORE: delegation from the Pakistan Industrial Sewing Machine Importers and Dealers Association (PISMIDA), led by Muhammad Umair Head of International Trade Affairs, visited the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Tokyo Chamber of Commerce to discuss opportunities for collaboration between Japan and Pakistan.
The PISMIDA delegation met with Yoichi Tomizawa, the Chief Manager of the International Division of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Tokyo Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, Umair outlined potential areas of collaboration, including joint startup programs, conferences, seminars, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) services from Pakistan.
The discussions centered on creating business facilities to enhance trade relations between the two countries, with a particular emphasis on opening doors for Pakistani traders to access the Japanese market. A key outcome of the meeting was the agreement that Pakistani traders would have the opportunity to exhibit their products in Japan, paving the way for further strengthening bilateral trade and business relations.
The delegation’s visit marks a significant step in promoting greater economic cooperation and fostering long-term partnerships between Japan and Pakistan.
