KARACHI: Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) today opened Pak-Türkiye Media Centres at the NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi.
This studio, set up in collaboration with NED University, will facilitate online remote education and offer diploma programs in various media-related fields.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Sarosh Hashmat Lodi highlighted a long-held dream of having a studio for online and remote education, and thanked TİKA profoundly for making this dream a reality.
Turkish Consul General Cemal Sangu emphasised the deep historical ties of friendship between Türkiye and Pakistan and expressed his belief that the Pak-Türkiye Media Centre, established by TİKA, would further enhance and solidify this friendship.
In his speech at the inauguration ceremony, Department Head Dursun Ali Yaşacan mentioned that TİKA, similar to its efforts in many countries worldwide, has been carrying out media projects in Pakistan as well.
He noted the recent inauguration of media projects in Islamabad and expressed his happiness in providing a modern studio that will serve many purposes at Pakistan’s historic university.
