LAHORE: The Furniture Association presented recommendations to improve the tax system and reaffirmed its commitment to adhering to tax laws.
A delegation from the Lahore Furniture Association, led by Riaz Mughal and Jafar Hussain, met with Ahmad Shuja, Chief Commissioner of the Regional Tax Office (RTO) in Lahore. Other attendees included Rizwan Butt, Irfan Kambow, and various presidents of associations.
The meeting also saw participation from Chief Coordinator Naeem Mir, Focal Person Ahmad Hassan, Assistant Commissioner Fatima Tariq, and Second Secretary Ayesha Atta.
During the meeting, the association emphasised the importance of filing taxes, stating that it is the responsibility of traders and a crucial step towards the country’s betterment. This meeting marks a significant step in promoting cooperation between traders and tax authorities.
