Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain condemned the killing of a senior party worker, Jalil-ur-Rahman, and two people of Bohri community in Hyderabad and termed it an act of terrorism. In his statement, issued from London, Altaf Hussain expressed grief and sorrow over the killing of Jalil-ur-Rahman and two other people and demanded of the government to take immediate action against the killers.
He said that terrorism and target killing are a conspiracy to destroy peace in the province as well as in the country. He said if the President, Prime Minister and Interior Minister are unable to take any action against terrorists then they should resign.
He also demanded of the government to take action against those who killed the members of Bohri and Hindu communities in Hyderabad. The MQM Chief also asked the government to provide protection to the human rights' activists Tahira Abdullah and Marvi Sarmad.
