Pursuant to the Judgement dated October 22, 2012, passed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, in Civil Review Petition No 214 of 2012 in Constitution Petition No 5 of 2012 (Chaudhry Waseem Qadir Vs. Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi and others), the Election Commission of Pakistan has restored the Membership of Waseem Qadir in the Provincial Assembly Punjab from Constituency No PP-144 Lahore-VIII and hereby recalls to his extent, its Notification of even number dated September 20 whereby Waseem Qadir, was de-notified as Member of that Assembly.
