Inter Departmental English Debate Contest-2012 in connection of 15th all Pakistan Inter University Debating Contest for the award of Allama Iqbal Shield held on Tuesday at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium, Arts faculty building, University of Sindh Jamshoro in which 12 teams participated.
According to details, the first round of debate contest was held in peaceful manner whereas Professor M. Yousuf Pardesi of Sindh University, Professor Farzana Anjum of Govt. Zubaida Girls College Hyderabad and Professor Iqbal Ahmed Memon of LUMHS render their services as judges in the contest.
However Miss Faiza Makhdoom of Institute of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering stood first position in debate contest whereas Amjad Gul Abro of Institute of English Language & Literature and Amir Ali Khuhro achieved second and third position respectively. The contest will continue on Wednesday as well.
