Thin trade on grain market

A few changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday due to higher rates of the commodities, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai quoted higher at Rs 2450, wheat old Bardan and new posted fresh gain of Rs 20 to Rs 3050-3090, other commodities did not show any change in the process of trading, dealers said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh old held the overnight level at Rs 400 and Rs 500 and cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type retained overnight level at Rs 900 while the best variety picked up by Rs 25 to Rs 950, they said. Prices were inert on the rice and grams sector, they said.
