President, Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Muhammad Haroon Agar has expressed deep concern over recent bloodshed and target killing of three brothers. They were senior members of Karachi Electronics Dealers Association. He lamented that despite of assurances by the Governor Sindh to KCCI to take immediate practical security measures with effective implementation but the situation has even become worse.
Target killing of businessmen in cold-blood, when the whole Karachi city is red alert due to on-going Ideas 2012 exhibition, puts a question mark on the efficiency and integrity of the Police and Law Enforcing Agencies, he said. Situation is totally alarming as Government and Police have no control over prevailing law and order situation, he added.
He said that Karachi Chamber deferred protest calls on the assurance of Governor Sindh to control the situation with visible results on the ground for the betterment in Old City Areas and all the Industrial Zones and markets of Karachi but in vain.-PR
