PSL3: United choose to bowl against Qalandars

Islamabad United have won the toss and elected to bat first against Lahore Qalandars in the first match of the day
Published March 8, 2018

Islamabad United have won the toss and elected to bat first against Lahore Qalandars in the first match of the day being played at Dubai International Stadium on Thursday.

In a nail-biting match that went all the way down to a Super Over, Islamabad held their nerve to come out at the right side of the match. Looking much more confident since, the Misbah-led team is now at fourth position on the points table, with three wins and two losses so far.

Lahore's nightmarish run, however, continues. The team has lost all five of its matches so far, drawing the fans' ire for some inexplicable judgment calls that have only extended its woes in the tournament.
