Pakistan’s batting great in awe of Hasan Khan
Hasan Khan’s inning of 9 runs off 3 deliveries, might not sound much but turned out to be the one that claimed victory for Quetta Gladiators, who were looking for redemption against Multan Sultans.
Pakistan batting legend and former captain Mohammad Yousuf, praised the youngster saying that Hasan hitting the maximum against Multn Sultans in the penultimate over, reminded him of the famous Sharjah six hit by Javed Miandad against India and the one hit by Shahid Afridi against the same opponent at Asia Cup.
“Hasan Khan six was a match winning one, and it reminded of Javed Miandad who hit a six against India, Shahid Afridi too did the same. Meanwhile, Hasan hit it against the opponents of a cricket league,it was a really good effort by the youngster,” said Mohammad Yousuf.
“It was a small inning, but the one which made the difference for his side,” said Yousuf.
Yousuf also showered praise on fast bowler Umar Gul, who picked up six wickets for 24 runs for Multan Sultans, saying that Gul’s bowling spell was perhaps the best he has seen in T20 cricket, and was of the view that the fast bowler rightly deserved the Man of the Match award, despite being on the losing side.
