Moong prices were up on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab went up by Rs 125 to Rs 6375, Urad Burma, however, lost Rs 100 to Rs 2700, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the grams sector, most of the items fell amid easy supply position, grams Australia No 1 dropped sharply by Rs 200 to Rs 7000-7100, grams Australia Dall No 1 followed same path, falling Rs 100 to Rs 8500-8900, grams 50x50 shed the same amount to Rs 7500-7900, they said. Only one change was witnessed on the seeds side, where cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (New) low type held the overnight level at Rs 800, the best variety rose by Rs 50 to Rs 950, they added. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
