Minister for Housing Malik Nouman Ahmad Langrial said that time is up and now no more relaxation would be given to illegal occupants. The Minister of State has called all the records of those who have occupied the government places even after their retirements.
Malik Nouman Ahmad Langrial is very concerned about the prolonged process of stay orders of the court, which not only make the deserving government employees disappointed, but also give the power to 'haves' to use law according to their desires. He said it would be discussed with higher authorities to specify a limit of taking stay orders from the court. He said we are here to provide justice to the deserving rather than to protect the power class.
The Minister stated that he has heard the complaints of many government employees and we can say that with the passage of time the system is moving towards improvement as the management of lodges and hostels has been transferred to Housing Ministry from Works Ministry.
The Minister is fully committed to make the whole procedures of allotment and then possessions transparent. He said we, the ministers, take oath to remain sincere to our people and country, we vow to bring all corrupt faces to task and give government places to all those who are in service and this selection would be done on merit.-PR
