Siemens Pakistan presented its wide array of solutions at the "Germany on the road" road show held in Karachi. The Siemens stall offering a glimpse into the technologies offered in the areas of energy, industry, infrastructure & cities and healthcare attracted a large number of guests and potential customers.
Most of the visitors were impressed by the highly attractive décor of the stall and information presented in concise yet attractive manner. Among the solutions offered were Smart Grid solutions that can ensure reliable and optimised working of power grids in Pakistan. Transmission and distribution system has to adapt to the changing supply and demands situation in the country.
Smart Grid solutions ensures effective network planning with simulations which helps in pre-evaluation of critical network conditions and accurate determination of technical losses, efficient load dispatching/management, life cycle management of valuable assets of power networks and advanced metering infrastructure to curtail the non-technical losses and provide better transparency in the power networks.-PR
