The 29th Governor's Cup Golf Tournament 2012 is starting from November 16 at the Lahore Gymkhana Golf Course. Amateur golfers of the country would try their luck by applying golfing skills until 18th November to achieve success in the tournament.
A large number of golfers from leading golf centres like Karachi, Multan, Sargodha, Okara, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Wah, Swat and Peshawar have converged to Lahore to compete this grant event. Millat Group of Companies would be the official sponsors of the tournament. The Chief Executive Officer Ahsan Imran, Convenor Major Javed Nasrullah and Shahid Gull Qureshi, Captain Lahore Gymkhana held a pre-tournament press conference at the Gymkhana Thursday.
CEO Millat Group said the company is a leader in the field of agriculture, contributing towards the machinery distribution network which is of great help to the farmers. He said there is a strong bond between the company and the Lahore Gymkhana, therefore, the Millat Group is sponsoring the event. He expressed the hope that the spectators would get a chance to enjoy good golf for next three days.
