Chairman of Ansar Burney Trust International, Ansar Burney, strongly condemned execution of a prisoner in Mianwali Jail. He said on Thursday early morning that Prison authorities hanged Mohammed Hussain in Mianwali Jail. Ansar Burney said that after rejection of Mercy Petition from President Asif Ali Zardari and the Army Chief, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Mohammad Hussain hanged to death in Mianwali Jail on Thursday early morning.
He said Mohammad Hussain was an Army soldier and sentenced to death in 2009 because reportedly he had killed his senior officer Hawaldar Khadim Hussain in 2008 when they were on leave.
