Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday has stressed the concerned officials that Thar Coal and energy development, solar energy, wind energy, and other sources are being developed and promoted. He said that this while presiding over the meeting of all provincial secretaries and departmental heads at Chief Minister House.
The meeting was also attended by Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas, Additional Chief Secretary (P&D) Malik Israr, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Muhammad Arif Khan, and others. Qaim Ali Shah said that bureaucracy is an important factor of any government which follow the policies of the government and implement the programmes aimed at to provide facilities to common man.
He said that the government will complete its tenure of five years and we have to see and assess the overall performance of all departments. He stressed upon heads of various departments to move fast and fully concentrate upon completion of development schemes. He said that all departments have been provided necessary allocation but the utilisation is very deplorable, as such the performance must be accelerated.
Qaim Ali Shah stressed upon officers to improve their performance on administrative side instead of any political approach and we will continue the policies of welfare of people. Schemes under, health, education and other sectors are to be completed before completion of tenure of government. Regarding appointments for government jobs, certain departments and certain officers are violating the rules, he added. Chief Secretary Sindh in his views highlighted the role and responsibilities of bureaucracy and assured the Chief Minister that the programme and policies of government will be fully followed and implemented in letter and spirit.-PR
