KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 23,834.63 points with a negative change of -81.47 and volume of 90,001,900 shares. High and Low were 23,999.94 and 23,714.78 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 23 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 139,896,270 shares. Total companies traded were 360 of which 92 were positive, 241 were negative and 27 were unchanged.

Textile Composite was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,656,400 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 18,600,350 shares.
