Toshiba has announced two new ultrabooks which run the Windows 8 operating system. The two 14-inch models will go on sale this month under the name Satellite U940. The U940-100 has 4 gigabytes (GB) of RAM and a 500 GB hard drive with 32 GB of SSD storage. The processor is an Intel i3-3217U.
This computer will cost 799 euros (1,025 dollars). The 100 euros more expensive U940-101 has 8 GB of RAM, a 640 GB hard drive and an i5-3317U processor from Intel. Both ultrabooks are equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a HD webcam and weigh about 1.7 kilos.
