Lawyers of High Court Bar on Tuesday staged a demonstration and burnt the flags of United Nations, United States of America and Israel to express their anger against the Israeli air strikes on populated areas of Gaza and Safa and killing more than 50 innocent Palestinians including women and children.
The demo was led by President of High Court Bar Multan Mehmood Ashraf Khan, Rana Asif Saeed, member of executive committee of Pakistan Bar Council. More than 100 lawyers joined the demo and shouted slogans against the Israel. They also observed the strike and kept themselves away from their professional duties. Jamiat Talaba-i-Arabia staged a demonstration at Chowk Nawan Shehr. More than 200 students of religious seminaries carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-Israel slogans. They expressed their solidarity with Palestinians. Ansari Muttahida Movement also staged a demonstration at Chungi No 14.
