Taiwan stocks ended up 0.23 percent on Tuesday, lifted by oil stocks, which gained 1.31 percent. The main TAIEX index rose 16.73 points to 7,145.77, paring early gains after opening up 0.7 percent. Electronics shares were flat, while banking shares gained 0.63 percent. The Taiwan dollar traded up T$0.095 at T$29.107. Foreign investors were net buyers on Monday, bringing down their total selling to T$9.2 billion this month.
