Small business on grain market

Some changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday as many buyers failed to make deals at the higher rates, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-white (broken) low type gained Rs 20 to Rs 2525 because a few buyers showed interest in purchasing of low type of variety, on the other hand, inferior quality was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2550, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) inferior quality gained Rs 50 to Rs 950, good type was unchanged at Rs 1000, they said. Prices maintained week-end levels on the cereals and grams sector, they said.
