Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has urged the Parliamentarians of ruling party to inform the masses about the four years' achievements of the present government. The parliamentarians of Pakistan People's Party (PPP) informed the Prime Minister about the progress of development work in their constituencies.
The Prime Minister underlined the need for early completion of the projects and assured the members that funds would be provided in time. The Prime Minister asked the parliamentarians to increase contact with the people and sensitise them about the achievement of the government. He was talking to parliamentarians who called on him here on Wednesday. The member of the Parliament who called on him included Abdul Ghani Talpur, Raheela Baloch, Shagufta Jumani, Natasha Daultana, Palwasha Khan, Tariq Bajwa, Shamshad Sattar Bachani and Senator Islamuddin Shaikh.
Pervez Ashraf said the successful completion of the tenure of the present elected government speaks volumes of the reconciliation polices pursued by the government. While reiterating the resolve of the government to strengthen democratic system in the country, he said that it was up to the people of Pakistan to elect their representatives.
