Government determined to defeat terrorism: Bilour

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister and Parliamentary Leader of ANP in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Bashir Ahmad Bilour said that arrest of suicide bombers, tracing explosive devices and foiling terror attempts are clearly indicating that days of the masterminds of terrorism are over.
Talking to a delegation comprising of Ulema, notables and ANP workers from his electoral constituency PK-3, he stressed on role of Ulema and other public-opinion makers in politico religious awareness, reformation of society and combating challenges. He said that the incident of Karbala teaches Muslims to avoid differences, demonstrate exemplary unity and awareness in our ranks. He was of the view that nations always paved way for weaknesses and destruction due to own mistakes. However, he said it is good omen that the Pakistani nation has realised the real critical situation and people are showing extraordinary unity and fraternity. The Senior Minister said that it is the need of the hour in the present scenario to effectively check the wave of terrorism imposed on us by unseen enemy and to foil its nefarious designs.
The members of the delegation thanked the provincial government and especially the Senior Minister for foolproof security arrangements for the holy month of Muharram. The delegations revealed that both Sunni and Shia leaders have arranged the Alam Zuljanah and other religious processions and fixed places and routes for public meetings in respect of solemnising Ashura processions with mutual consultation and active co-operation of the local administration and hence there is no question of creating rift amongst them by the miscreants.
Bashir Bilour eulogised this spirit and said that the government also took courage of such exemplary cohesion and fraternity of the people and taking concrete steps to combat all challenges including the menace of terrorism. He assured that the government would soon expose all the internal and external elements involved in the terrorism and suicide attacks and would bring them to book.
He urged the people to keep vigilance on subversive elements in their surroundings and continue maintaining unity in their ranks in the present alarming situation so that the nefarious objectives of the anti-state elements and miscreants could be foiled effectively.
