Attendance remained thin in all industrial estates of the city on Friday due to thin availability of public transport and fear created in the minds of workers due to repeated statements of Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Malik about possible terrorists' attacks in the city. Industrials said that production activities suffered due to this situation.
Industrialists pointed out that in Federal B industrial estate there are around 90 percent export oriented units and majority of them are garment industries. Staff of garment units consists of 55 percent women whom company proved transport.
