The Karachi Kings reached 188 runs at the loss of three wickets; in what was the highest ever score by the Kings in an inning against Multan Sultans at Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday.
The Kings lose their first wicket cheaply on 21 in fourth over, after Lendl Simmons was dismissed by Mohammad Irfan on 4.
Joe Denly and Babar Azam then carried the Kings, sharing a massive 118 runs stand on second wicket, with Denly hitting playing a blistering knock of 78 off 55 deliveries, before getting caught by Imran Tahir. Meanwhile, Babar Azam continued the good work, with his workman like innings of 58 runs off 39 deliveries.
