Small change on grain market

Slow trading activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday as all commercial centres resumed business, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat old Bardan old was registered at Rs 3010 and wheat new Bardan quoted at Rs 3050, they said.
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh low quality shed Rs 25 to Rs 3250 and better type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 3300, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag (old) were unchanged at Rs 400-500, cottonseeds oilcakes with bag (new) inferior quality was inert at Rs 900 while the good type was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 1000 due to tight supplies owing to Muharram holidays, they said.
