PPP MPA and chairman standing committee for industries and production Sardar Muhammad Khichi died of cardiac arrest here during early hours of Tuesday morning. He was 54. The late MPA from PP-239 constituency of Vehari was son of noted landowner and senior politician Sardar Allah Yar Khichi.
He served as Chairman Baldia Mailsi in 1983, administrator market committee Mailsi in 2002 and was elected as MPA from PPP platform in 2008 from PP-239 constituency. Late Sardar Muhammad Khichi was the cousin of former MNA Dilawar Khan Khichi and former district nazim Vehari Mumtaz Khan Khichi, maternal uncle of former MNA Aftab Khichi and Asad Alam and brother of EDO (Revenue) Bahawalnagar Akbar Khan Khichi.
