"I am going to quit my basic membership from PML-N as frustrated by the party central and provincial leadership despite devoted efforts, Ms Aurangzeb said in distressed mood, while announcing in a press conference here at Press Club. She claimed that she had played integral role for strengthening PML-N women wing both at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other provinces, especially during the dictatorial regime of former General Pervez Musharraf, when the leadership self-exile from the country.
She further said the PML-N women wing under her supervision was also played pivotal role for highlighting key national and international issues. "I would personally salute, to all those women workers, who backed and supported her in difficulty situation", she thanked.
"There is no respect and place for devoted workers in PML-N", she lamented. Therefore, "I am tendering my resignation for inconvenient and hostile attitude of the central and provincial leaders of the party, because "I would not prefer to retain my position on mere a piece of paper or document, she argued. "I thought that it would be voice unjust with party women workers, if not provide due rights within party, therefore I had opt to resign my position", she remarked. Ms Aurangzeb further said that it was basic obligation of party leadership to respect the devoted instead of demoralising them, but it doesn't happened in the PML-N.
"I had tried to settle down bad organisational situation persisted in the KP province, she claimed. She, however, added that the existing provincial president Pir Sabir Shah, General Secretary Rahmat Salam and Central General Secretary, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra had created hurdles in this regard.
Despite the hurdles and impediments, she said, "I had continued my efforts for organising party in the province, to extend service to masses under the party platform. But, I didn't receive any positive gesture from the party central leadership, she lamented.
