AJK Accountability Bureau has arrested Sheikh Noor Ahmed, a retired headmaster of public-sector high school, on the charge of allegedly attesting a fake National Identity Card.
A spokesman of the AJK Accountability Bureau said in a press release here on Wednesday that the arrested accused Sheikh Noor Ahmed, Headmaster (Retd) of Government Chaudhry Altaf Hussain High School Civil Lines, Jhelum, had attested the fake national identity card of Habib Ahmed, son of Neik Muhammad resident of Machine Mohalla Jhelum, during his (Noor Ahmad) service in year 2004.
After getting attested the fake national identity card, the accused Habib Ahmed fraudulently sold the residential Plot No 776 of one Kanal at Sector D/4, Chamanzar, Mirpur, to Muhammad Rafiq. Further investigation in this regard was in process, the statement said.
