The UNDP funded three-year Pro-Poor Governance for the Legal Empowerment (Pro-Gole: Right to Do Business) initiative of Smeda has extended legal facilitation to marginalized SME businesses, kiosk owners, women entrepreneurs and different business associations.
In this purpose, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held in District Bar Association, Abbottabad. Shahzada Khan, President-Distract Bar Association accompanied with group of lawyers attended ceremony; whereas Ms Noor Zeba, Provincial Co-ordinator Pro-Gole Project and Mohammad Kamran Khan, Regional Business Co-ordinator-Smeda Abbottabad represented Pro-Gole Project, respectively. Under the MoU, both parties agreed to work jointly and extend legal facilitation to business community of Abbottabad by the establishment of Third Party Facilitation Centre (TPFC) in major business associations.
