The Chairman, State Life has conveyed his deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the fire victim in Wednesday's incident. According to details, the fire was erupted in the premises of rented KESC's office, situated in State Life's building No 11, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi on November 28. The fire broke out probably at 11:00am and it was at the duct of electrical distribution panel.
The fire was controlled within an hour after the efforts of the Corporation's Fire workers by utilising the fire-fighting system and with the help of Fire Brigade of the City. Meanwhile, employees from the different tenant's offices were safely evacuated through the emergency exit gates available at both the wings. The State Life's emergency exit control system was fully operational. The officials and E D (RE) of State Life were in due time reached the spot and managed the situation.-PR
