The Provincial Secretary, Culture Department, Abdul Aziz Uqaili has said that 269th Annual Urs of great Saint Poet Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai would be celebrated with dignity and devotion in the next month at Bhitshah. This he said while presiding over meeting of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Mela Organising Committee at Rest House Bhitshah on Thursday.
Syed Mazhar Ali Shah alias Syed Nazan shah, the son of Sajjadah Nasheen Dargah Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai Syed Khawar Ali Shah, the Deputy Commissioner Matiari Shahid Zafar Leghari, S.S.P Matiari Manzoor Khatian, District Officers of all provincial departments, local government and representatives from PTCL, Hesco and other officers attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting Abdul Aziz Uqaili said that the scholars and writers from other nations of the world have been invited to participate in the Second Shah Latif International ADABI CONFERENCE, which to be conducted on the second day of the Urs Celebrations at Excellence Centre Bhitshah.
He said that such invitations have been dispatched to the scholars of United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Germany, Iran, India and all four provinces of Pakistan in advance. In addition to that more than 12 new books published by Provincial Culture Department on various literary topics would also be launched on the eve of Adabi Conference. He said that the purpose of these efforts was not only to convert the event into literary and academic sessions but also to promote the message of love, affection and harmony of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai through all over world. He said that in addition to that other activities including Sughar Conference, Musical Concerts, Malakhro, Horse Racing, Cattle Show, Agricultural Exhibition would also be conducted.
