Gladiators bring in ‘The Machine Gun’ for PSL final phase
England opener Jason Roy has arrived at Dubai to join the Quetta Gladiators for the remaining matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 3.
Announcing the arrival of Roy, the Quetta Gladiators tweeted, “The Machine Gun of #Zordaar11 Jason Roy has joined the Purple Force. Quetta Gladiators are even more stronger now #ShaanePakistan.”
Roy missed the first phase of the league due to national duty. The explosive right-hander was part of Lahore Qalandars in the last season of the league.

The Gladiators are currently sitting at the top of points table with 10 points, followed by Islamabad United, who also have the same points.
Despite the defeat against Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans are on the third and fourth places respectively.
The defending champions Peshawar Zalmi, who only have two more games remaining, are on the fifth place. However, like past two seasons, the Qalandars are already eliminated from the tournament.
