President Asif Ali Zardari will pay a three-day official visit to Turkey from 11-13 December, 2012 to attend the 7th Afghanistan-Pakistan-Turkey Trilateral Summit along with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Turkish President Abdullah Gul.
Ministers for Foreign Affairs, Communication, Interior and other high ranking military and civil officials will also participate in the meeting. The Trilateral Ankara Summit provides a comprehensive platform for furthering high level political dialogue, security co-operation and development partnership among the three brotherly countries for bringing peace and stability in Afghanistan and the entire region.
Held under the theme of 'connectivity,' the meeting will focus on strengthening economic and commercial co-operation through improving the existing and developing new rail and road links.
