The Station Commander Brigadier Zaman Nasrullah Khan Niazi has said that all the problems faced by the business community regarding Cantonment boards will be resolved on priority basis. He said that issues of old grant, property tax, professional tax and board tax will be resolved with the consultation of stakeholders and every possible step will also be taken to solve the said issues. "Facilitation centers are being established in boards to facilitate the masses", he said.
He was exchanging these views with the president Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Manzar Khurshid Sheikh during his visit to the RCCI here on Wednesday. The Chief Executive Officers of Rawalpindi and Chaklala Cantonment boards, Group leader Najamul Haq Malik, Senior Vice President Pervaiz Ahmed Warriach, Vice President Nadeem Rauf, former presidents, member Executive Committee and other members of the Chamber were also present on the occasion.
Zaman Khan Niazi said that both the boards are working hard to resolve the all the issues face by the business community and the masses but for better results business community must cooperate with boards. He said that encroachments and non availability of parking place are the major issues of Cantt areas which are affecting the beauty of the City. He stressed that anti encroachment drive will be kicked off soon with the help of business community to resolve the said issues.-PR
