Pakistan hockey team will participate in the second Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament to be played in Doha, Qatar from December 20-27, 2012. Manager, Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary, with the approval of President Pakistan Hockey Federation, Qasim Zia has announced following squad for participation in the event.

The players comprising Imran Shah, Imran Butt, Syed Kashif Shah, Muhammad Imran (captain), Muhammad Rizwan Senior, Muhammad Tousiq, Fareed Ahmed, Rashid Mahmood, Muhammad Waqas (vice-capt), Shafqat Rasool, Abdul Haseem Khan, Ali Shan, Muhammad Ateeq, Waseem Ahmed, Muhammad Kashif Ali, Shakeel Abbasi, Muhammad Irfan and Muhammad Salman Hussain.
Hockey team said that they have dropped the following players from the teams comprising Muhammad Rizwan junior who is medically unfit while Muhammad Umar Bhutta, who has unsatisfactory performance in the recently concluded Champions Trophy where Pakistan finished third.
The players are directed to report to the camp commandant Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary at Mian Muhammad Sharif Hockey Stadium, Johar Town Lahore on December 16, 2012 in the afternoon. The names of the team officials to be accompanied with team including Akhtar Rasool Chaudhary (manager, head coach), Abdul Haneef Khan (coach), Ajmal Khan Lodhi (coach), Ahmed Alam (coach), Faiz-ur-Rahman (physiotherapist) M. Nadeem Khan Lodhi (video-analyst).
