ZAGREB: Croatia sold 220 million kuna worth of one-year treasury bills on Tuesday, with the yield staying unchanged at 0.09 percent for the sixth consecutive auction, Finance Ministry's data showed.
The result fell short of the ministry's target of 300 million kuna ($49.76 million). Banks bought about 45 percent of all bills.
The ministry occasionally also auctions bills with 3-month and 6-month maturities as well as those denominated in euros.
After the auction, Croatia's overall short-term debt in the local currency fell to 19.68 billion kuna from 19.76 billion kuna.
