Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that time has ended for practising hereditary politics in the country. He asked the people, especially youth, to reject all corrupt faces through the power of vote in the next general election. He was addressing a students' convention organised by Insaf Students Federation here at Tehmas Khan Stadium on Thursday.
PTI's central leader Naeemul Haq, ISF provincial president Akhunzada Hussain Ahmad and a large number of students attended the convention. Imran said that the corrupt leadership in the country would be eliminated by the ideological political forces in the upcoming generation election.
He said that the bureaucracy should disown any illegal decision imposed by the government. "The time of Asif Ali Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif has ended and a new Pakistan will emerge soon," he said and added that the time was not far to hold all corrupt people accountable and bring back the country's looted money. "I will also question Asfanydar Wali Khan and Maulana Fazlur Rahman as to how they accumulated huge wealth," he said.
Imran said that all wrongdoings of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain would be removed if he returned to the country on time. He urged Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari to take back selfish people in their parties, as PTI was an ideological party. He asked the youth to get prepared for the general election, assuring that the party would provide equal chance to the youth in the election. "Youth are our destiny and future, and PTI will provide 25 percent party tickets to youngsters in the general election," he said. He said that the leaders of major political parties were promoting heredity politics in the country, which would be ended soon.
