Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has announced a financial assistance of Rs 0.5 million, while Federal Minister for Communication Arbab Alamgir Rs 0.1 million for the family of late divisional president, Peoples' Students Federation (PSF) Mardan, Israr Mohmand.
The financial assistance was announced on the request of Deputy Secretary General, PPP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zahir Shah to the PM during a dinner held by Deputy Speaker, National Assembly, Faisal Karim Kundi in honour of the provincial cabinet of PPP with PM Raja Pervez Ashraf as chief guest on the occasion.
Zahir requested the PM that late Israr Mohmand was busy in party activities on November 28, when he died in a traffic accident. The PM was told that besides a senior student activist, Israr Mohmand was also a sincere worker of the party and had left behind a widow and children and requested for extending financial assistance for them.
