Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani on Wednesday visited Bilour House, expressed condolences with Federal Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahamd Bilour over the death of his younger brother and ANP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour.
The Premier Raja Pervez Ashraf was accompanied by Federal Minister for Law, Farooq H Naek and others, expressed grief and sorrow with Bilour brothers. The KP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour was killed along with eight other people in a suicide blast at Dhaki Nalbandi on December 22 last. Upon the arrival of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf foolproof security measures were taken. The Prime Minister remained there for sometime and offered Fateha for the departed soul. He eulogised the social and political services of Bashir Ahmed Bilour Shaheed for the country.
On the occasion, Senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour and sons of slain ANP leader, Haroon Bashir Bilour and Usman Bashir Bilour were present. The Prime Minister paid glowing tribute to the assassinated ANP leader Bashir Ahmad Bilour of his courage and bravery and stood firm against the terrorism. He said the services of Bashir Ahmad recognised at both national and international levels for common objective of establishment of peace and elimination of terrorism and extremism from this region.
Raja Ashraf said that the sacrifices of ANP Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour and other people victims of a suicide blast will not go in vain. "The sacrifices will be written in golden words in the history", he added. The Premier said that the slain leader laid down his life for a cause and his sacrifices would be written in golden words in the political history of the country.
Moreover, PM also expressed heartfelt condolences with Haroon Ahmed Bilour and Usman Ahmed Bilour, sons of Bashir Ahmed Bilour Shaheed and other members of the bereaved family. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani also visited Bilour House along with a delegation comprising Balochistan Senior Minister Maulana Abdul Wasey and others. They condoled with Ghulam Ahmad Bilour and Ilyas Bilour on the death of their brother Bashir Ahmad Bilour. They offered Fateha for the departed sole of slain Bashir Bilour. The stringent security measures were taken during a short visit of Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to Bilour House.
Earlier, KP Governor Barrister Masood Kausar and Chief Minister received Raja Pervez Ashraf at Bacha Khan International Airport. Meanwhile, KPK government issued a notification of appointing Haroon Bilour son of slain ANP senior minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour as a special advisor to Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Local Government and Rural Development Department. It's worth mentioning here that Bashir Bilour was the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Department till his tragic death in the suicide blast.
