Muneer, President, India-Pakistan CCI & former president FPCCI, Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President, Saarc CCI & former president FPCCI, Shaikh Haroon Rashid, Shaikh Shakil Ahmad Dhingra, Iqbal Dawood Pakwala, Sheikh Abdul Waheed Sandal, Mirza Abdul Rehman, Azhar Majeed, Zubair Ali, Engr. Daroo Khan, Begum Salma Ahmad, Vice Presidents FPCCI, Sheikh Humayun Sayeed, Chairman, FPCCI Standing Committee on Diplomatic Affairs and former Vice- President FPCCI expressed their deep sorrow on the death of Professor Ghafoor Ahmed, Naib Amir of the Jamaat-e-Islami.
They said that Professor Ghafoor Ahmed was a leading figure in the politics of Pakistan and the man of commitment and principle. Throughout his life, Professor Ghafoor Ahmed remained purposefully engaged and led a remarkably productive life. He was always loyal and generous to his work. He was a key figure of the Democracy in Pakistan, which led the various movements for the restoration of democracy in the country. The Business Community prays to Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.-PR
