President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday inaugurated different development projects in Sindh. The projects include Rs 800 million Ratodero-Naudero road‚ Rs 1.5 billion Sakrand-Shaheed Benazirabad road and Rs 3.5 billion Lakhi-Naudero road. The president also inaugurated a veterinary university campus at Sakrand. The university has been completed at a cost of Rs 3 billion. The sub-campus of the university will be established at Larkana and classes will start from 15th of the next month.
These schemes have been completed in three year span of time with the cost of around five billion rupees. After the completion of these schemes the new area of prosperity and development has started in the area, as road infrastructure promotes the economy. President Asif Ali Zardari also inaugurated Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Campus of Sindh University at Dadu. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Nazeer Ahmad Mughal was also present.President Asif Ali Zardari also laid the foundation stone of first ever Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary Sciences in Larkana Campus on Friday.
The university will be completed in three-years with the cost of three billion rupees. Provincial Secretary Livestock and Fisheries Sindh Syed Abid Shah told media that the establishment of first every Veterinary University in Sindh is a major break through in the field of animal sciences, which will be beneficial for the people of province.
