Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Barrister Masood Kausar has strongly condemned the killing of levy jawans who were kidnapped from Frontier Region, Peshawar the other day and said that the elements involved in the heinous crime will be brought to justice.
"This is a worst act of inhumanity and a serious threat to writ of the state and the elements involved do not deserve for any sympathy or soft corner and the law of the land has to be invoked with full force to nab them at the earliest possible time.
Paying rich tributes to the martyrs, the Governor has said that their immortal sacrifices are the great asset of the nation which always will be remembered with deepest respect and regards. At the same time, he added, un-warranted killing of the jawans will never be let in vain rather the culprits involved will have to pay the cost. He has also asked the concerned authorities to gear up the arrangements to ensure maintenance of law and order in the area at every cost.
The Governor has also expressed his deepest sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and said that their near and dear ones have sacrificed their lives for security of the country and in this hour of trial they should not feel alone rather the entire nation stands along them. The Governor has also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
