President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf have congratulated the Pakistan cricket team and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on winning first One Day International against India in Chennai. The President, in his message of greetings to the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, manager and captain of the team, praised the performance of the players.
He expressed confidence that the Pakistan cricket team would continue its good performance and bring more laurels to the country. Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has also congratulated Pakistan cricket team over its win against India in first One Day International (ODI).
The Prime Minister praised the performance of the team, in particular the century scored by Pakistani opening batsman Nasir Jamshed.
