'Revolution of prosperity to be brought by eliminating poverty, unemployment'

Provincial Minister for Prisons Malik Iqbal Channar has said that every sacrifice will be made for transforming Pakistan into a country of Quaid and Iqbal. He said that Punjab government has sincerely served the masses and utilised all available resources for their welfare by considering the national wealth as a trust.
He said that a revolution of prosperity will be brought by eliminating poverty and unemployment in the country. He said that PML-N will also win the general elections in Bahawalpur Division under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
While talking to various delegations here at his residence on Sunday he said that the new modern hospital constructed at a cost of rupees three billion in Bahawalpur would become functional next month. He said that the resources spent on the Bahawalpur are unprecedented. He said that for the first time in the history of Cholistan, farms have been constructed at a cost of Rs 50 crore and steps are also being taken for resolving the water problem of Cholistan permanently in future. He said that 20,000 green tractors have been distributed among small farmers in Punjab without any 'safarish' through a subsidy of Rs 6 billion. He said that laptops were being distributed among youth on merit basis for equipping them with modern knowledge.
The Provincial Minister said that 70,000 capable teachers have been recruited in the province on merit whereas during the previous dictatorial era, education was destroyed in the name of "Parha Likha Punjab" and teachers were recruited on 'safarish'. He said that transparency and merit policy is being implemented strictly in the province. He said that we have ended the politics of "Biradari' and prejudice in the area.
He said that we believed in service to the poor and downtrodden people of the area and supported the oppressed. He said that dual road in Tehsil Yazman of Bahawalpur has been inaugurated which was constructed at a cost of Rs 13.5 crore from Bahawalpur to Yazman while Special Education Centre Yazman was constructed at a cost of Rs 46 million.
